Let Stanley Kubrick Tell You Why Life is Worth Living

Read Stanley Kubrick’s Beautiful Answer to Why Life Is Worth Living
If you look at Stanley Kubrick’s work like Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, Eyes Wide Shut, and A Clockwork Orange, they’re not the most uplifting depictions of mankind, it would make sense to think of Stanley Kubrick as an intensely pessimistic human being. That would be a mistake, as this remarkable comic strip below demonstrates from a quote from Kubrick about the meaning of life as seen by Mr. Kubrick.
The quote comes from an interview Kubrick gave in 1968 to Playboy magazine. Kubrick gave us this amazingly inspiring explanation of why understanding the meaninglessness of life is the key to a meaningful life.
Comic created by Gavin Aung Than for ZenPencils.com. You can read Stanley Kubrick’s original Playboy interview here at Brain Pickings.
